Mythical Backflow Cones - Witch Curse

Witch Curse smells exactly like you'd hope it would - earthy, herbal, and just a bit witchy. There's patchouli in there, definitely, along with something green and growing (sage, perhaps?) and undertones of wood smoke. It's the scent of a cottage in the woods, herbs hanging from the rafters, a cauldron bubbling on the stove. Atmospheric doesn't begin to cover it.

This is proper witchy incense for people who actually like earthy, herbal scents rather than the sweet, commercial stuff. It's grounding, it's mysterious, and it smells like autumn in the best possible way. If you're into herbalism, paganism, or just love that forest-floor vibe, you'll adore this.

The Herbal Mix

Patchouli's the backbone - that distinctive earthy, slightly musty scent that people either love or hate (no middle ground with patchouli). But it's not overwhelming; it's balanced with fresher herbal notes that keep it from being too heavy. There's something resinous too, maybe pine or cedar, that adds depth without making it smell like a Christmas tree.

When to Burn Witch Curse

Autumn and winter, definitely - this is a cold-weather scent. Perfect for Samhain (Halloween) or any time you're doing ritual work, tarot readings, or just want to feel witchy. Also brilliant for grounding after a stressful day - that earthy patchouli really does help you feel more centred.

Fair warning: if you don't like patchouli, you won't like this. It's not subtle about it. But if you do like patchouli, this is a beautifully balanced version that doesn't smell like a 1970s music festival.

Each cone burns for 15-20 minutes, creating thick, atmospheric smoke that cascades beautifully through backflow burners. The visual effect is properly witchy - dark, billowing smoke that looks like it's straight out of a spell book.

Important: Backflow cones only work with backflow burners - the ones designed to make smoke flow downward. They won't work with regular incense holders.
